Depart Sydney and fly to the West Coast of Australia. Land in Perth, one of the most scenic cities in Australia. Settle into the base hotel before a welcome function this evening.
Tour Kings Park, a 400 hectare park and Botanical garden on the CBD doorstep. Take in the stunning views over the city and river. Journey north to Liberty & Culham Charolais at their historical property at Toodyay for a herd inspection and lunch. From Culham head to the historical township of York in the wheat belt of Western Australia.
Today we head south toward the southwestern corner of Western Australia. Morning tea at the Williams Woolshed before lunch and herd visit at Venturon Charolais, Boyup Brook. Travel into the Karri Valley for accommodation at the resort.
Take a tram ride through the Pemberton forests before heading to Bridgetown for lunch and walk around. We visit Bardoo Charolais and Elgin Park before heading to your accommodation at the Broadwater Resort on the coast.
Today we give the taste senses an overload, with visits to the Margaret River Cheese Company, Margaret River Choc Factory, Bootleg Brewery and Driftwood Winery. The Margaret River region abounds in scenery and activities and is a popular tourism region. Take in one of the finest beaches in the region before heading to the Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory. The jetty is the longest timber piled jetty in the southern hemisphere at 1.8km long (don’t stress there is a ride out and back). Tonight we have our farewell dinner at the Resort.
Check out and head for morning tea and lunch with herd visits at Kooyong and Cooara before arriving in Perth about 3pm. The choice is yours, fly out tonight or stay another day.
